One Year Guarantee

Head-Lee Nursery Inc. takes great pride in providing our customers the finest horticultural products available. Our staff works very hard to keep our plants in top quality condition. Our staff is here to provide knowledgeable advice and gardening tips for all our customers.

We guarantee that our plants are healthy and true to name. If a plant dies after being planted according to the steps provided in our planting guide during the first year, we will replace it at no charge with proof of purchase. You will need to provide the original register receipt, and any tags or labels that were attached to the plant, and the dead plant material including the root ball. This is limited to a one time replacement of the plant or a store credit for the original purchase price. We do not give cash refunds.

Terms of the Guarantee:

  1. We do not guarantee plants that have been damaged from abuse or neglect. This warranty does not apply when damages are caused by the act of a person, animal, or insect.
  2. All plants must be planted in the ground and soil properly amended according to our planting guide. We do not guarantee products sold on clearance sale, discounted or special promotions. The following products are not covered under our guarantee but are guaranteed to be healthy and true to name at the time purchased.
    1. Annual flowers (Pansies, Asters, Impatients, Begonias, etc.)
    2. Vegetable plants and Herbs
    3. Hanging Baskets or combination planters
    4. Houseplants and tropical plants
    5. Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, Daphne, Pieris, and Leucothoe
    6. Live Christmas Trees, Cedrus, and Spruce species are not covered
    7. Plants grown in planters or containers
  3. We do not guarantee any trees or shrubs sold to Commercial Accounts or sold to Landscape Contractors.

Dry goods & other Non Plant Items

These items may be returned within 14 days if in original condition and are accompanied by the original register receipt.

A restocking fee of 15% may be assessed for certain items, especially items special ordered and then returned.

Products that are opened will not be accepted for return unless determined faulty by a Head-Lee Customer Service Representative. Please see manufacturer’s warranty information on product packaging.

All seasonal items sold on clearance Sale are not refundable.

Returned Plant policy

Head-Lee Nursery Inc. recommends that all plant material be installed in the ground as soon as possible after purchase.

Plants in original salable condition still in an original container and not installed in the ground may be returned up to 7 days from the purchase date if accompanied by the register receipt.

Plants that have been allowed to get too DRY will not be accepted and all plants must be inspected by a Head-Lee Customer Service Representative.
